Executive Advisory Board Member

› Glenn Backus is a highly accomplished, results-driven senior executive with more than 25 years of success in retail operations, strategic procurement and consumer product branding and marketing. Leveraging extensive experience as an innovative operator, brand strategist and turnaround specialist, Glenn is a valuable asset for any retail, consumer products, branding, marketing, and private equity companies. He has deep experience with opening new channels, growing existing channels, strategic repositioning, e-commerce and strategic alignment. His key areas of expertise also include operational management, mergers and divestitures, business and brand development, marketing and sales.

 Glenn holds an MBA, Business, Finance, Marketing, & Operations from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, and a Bachelor’s Degree in history from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is an adjunct professor at the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, where he teaches three courses: Leadership Effectiveness, Strategy, and Innovation and Risk. He also serves as consultant for major companies across the U.S. on behalf of the school.
